Winslade

This Vacherin/Camembert cross cows' cheese, is the epitome of OOOOOOZE.

It was created and made by Stacey Hedges and Charlotte Spruce at Hampshire Cheeses (Tunworth is also made here) and won Best New Cheese at 2013 The British Cheese Awards.

Winslade is encircled in a spruce collar, which allows the cheese very subtle piney notes with gentle floral tones. 

This beautiful cheese is allowed to mature for 8 weeks, much like Camembert. It has a pinkish hue and a distinctive dappled rind.

Winslade is perfect for baking and dunking in crusty bread. Try dipping in almonds, seeds and cranberries for an even more delish experience!
