St. Jude - SOLD OUT
This small yet mighty cheese is lovingly made by Julie Cheyney at Fen Farm Dairy in Suffolk. Julie was paramount in helping to create the wonderful Tunworth - and in 2014 she relocated to Suffolk so she could produce a cheese using the best milk from a herd of Montbeliarde cows, who make a rich, buttery milk.
St. Jude is hand-ladled and produces a luxuriously fresh , silky and mousse like texture which develops into a more richer taste as the cheese matures. Julie won Gold at The World Cheese Awards with St. Jude in 2018!
*please note, St Jude is experiencing a slight level of wild mould spotting. The cheese is a mould ripened cheese and sometimes when the creamy coloured mould surface develops (geotrichum) spots of blue, green and grey can appear. These are especially noticeable at present. The cheese is perfectly safe to eat and has been tested by the producers.
