This stunning cheese, with it’s distinctive ash coated rind, hides an incredibly delicate inner, fondant like, smooth and full of flavour!
Sainte Maure is super delicate when it's young, hence the wooden straw having to hold it together (If you pull out the straw, you should see the name of the farm or laser code on it)!
The Loire region, hosts an abundance of fantasic goats’ cheeses and Sainte Maure pairs especially well (like most goats cheeses) with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc...this really is a matchmade in sheer cheese HEAVEN.
