Dutch-born Marion Roeleweld created this goats cheese gouda in 2005, when she left her native Netherlands after falling in love with Ireland. After studying cheese making back in Holland, Marion's expertise led her to developing this ever so popular goats cheese gouda.
Marion's herd has increased over the years and now includes 200 Saanen goats (traditionally a Swiss breed).
Killeen has a unique taste and style which is aged for a minimum of 3 months. The texture is firm and fresh. The taste is slightly sweet, with floral notes.
