The Keens have been making cheese at Moorhayes Farm in Somerset since Great Aunt Jane made her first cheese in 1899!
The secret recipe has been passed down through the generations and is still made using the traditional methods from milk from their Friesian cows.
The cloth-bound cheeses mature for more than 12 months in the farm store, resulting in a tangy and full bodied taste.
Being 1 of only 2 cheese producers of Somerset cheddar (the other being the Westcombe), the family are rightly proud of this English classic!
