This is 100% true when it comes to this legendary washed rind powerhouse of a cheese.

Pungent, decadent yet surprisingly mellow in flavour.

Record suggest this cheese has been made since the 16th century when it was made by monks. It gradually died out but thankfully made a come back in the 1950’s.

Epoisses Gaugry is the height of oozy, spicy, pungency - best served with a Pinot Noir or Chardonnay.

Be prepared to fall in love with the ooozy god of cheese!
