Brixton Blue - VEGAN
Calling all Vegan blue cheese fans! We've heard that you've struggled to find a substitute - WELL here it is! So much excellent feedback on this one! Brixton Blue is a tangy, piquant almond-based blue cheese, aged with authentic blue mould. It is aged with Penicillium Roqueforti mould to recreate the characteristic blue cheese hit that many of you miss! This is a cheese for fans of more acrid blue cheeses with rich texture and a pungent aroma. Delicious with our crackers, chutney and olives or in a decadent doorstep sandwich. Pairing notes - Delicious with a full-bodied red wine or even a port!
