Berkswell is an epic ewes’ milk cheese made in the dairy of Ram Hall Farm, Warwickshire. The farm has been in Stephen Fletchers’ family since 1881, where this delicious cheese is made alonside Julie Hay, using the milk from their herd of Freisland ewes. Berkswell’s distinctive shape comes from something most of us have in our kitchen’s... a colander!
The flavours are fruity and similar to Manchego - we love this cheese with a good bottle of Spanish red like a Rioja.
