The cheese making GODS from Cropwell Bishop have done it again when it comes to developing a fantastic blue.
Taking inspiration from other European blue cheeses, most notably Gorgonzola Dolce, this cheese took 2 years from development to our shelves in 2011.
Robin Skailes wanted to make a blue cheese which was softer and milder than the classic English Stilton.
Beauvale was crowned Best Blue Cheese at the 2017 British Cheese Awards.
Beauvale is a sweet and buttery blue cheese with an indulgently creamy texture and a mild salty tang.
This pairs really well with a Merlot or a really good port!
