Perl Las (meaning Blue Pearl) is made by Carwyn Adams of Caws Cenarth near Cardigan in the heart of West Wales.
It’s delicate flavours mean this is a fantastic cheese for ‘blue beginners’ as it isn’t overwhelming, just incredibly more-ish!!
When mature, it becomes golden in colour and fuller in flavour. We found this pairs really well with a full bodied pinot Noir, a glass of vintage port or desert wine.
